鍛冶屋が行う神事「ふいご祭り」に参列してきました。
１２月２１日（水）、松崎刃物製作所にて執り行われた神事「ふいご祭り」に松崎師匠、お弟子さん二人と共に参列させていただきました。
ふいご祭りとは鍛冶屋、鋳物師など、ふいごっを使って火を扱う人たちが普段使っている仕事道具を労い、感謝を捧げるお祭りのことです。
参列させていただき、新たな年を迎えるにあたって身が引き締まる思いでした。
On Wednesday, December 21, Master Matsuzaki and two of his apprentices attended the “FUIGO-Matsuri,” a Shinto ritual held at Matsuzaki Hamono Seisakusho.
The FUIGO-Matsuri is a festival for blacksmiths, foundry workers, and others who work with fire using a fuse, to give thanks for the tools they use in their daily work.
I was honored to participate in the festival, and felt a sense of pride as we begin a new year.
